Argunis/Operations/Incidents and CMDB

Every alert, to the right person.

Argunis turns alerts into incidents with their probable cause, routes them to the right resolver group, escalates if nobody answers and records everything in the inventory, reports and audit log.

Groups, on-call and escalation

Each resolver group has its leads, weekly on-call and escalation. The first alert goes to whoever is on call; if nobody takes the incident, Argunis notifies the next person after the minutes you define.

Probable cause, not a hundred symptoms

Alarm policies decide what opens an incident and what stays an event. With the inventory’s dependencies, Argunis groups outages that go together and points to the cause and the affected items.

  • Correlation by dependencies
  • Learned relationships to accept

Frequently asked questions

Does an incident close on its own?

Outage incidents close when the service is back; event incidents after the minutes without new events you define. The rest stay open until someone closes them.

Can I test who will get an alert?

Yes. The simulator shows which group receives it, by which rule, who is on call and through which channels each person gets it.

Do reports carry my logo?

Yes. They are generated as PDF with your company logo, as Excel and CSV, and can be scheduled by email or requested from the assistant.
